We have a show coming up in Houston on August 22nd at Fitz of all places. On August 22nd, 2003 we played our first show, so this is kind of special. Come out. It is also Eyeagainst's fourth or fifth 'final show'.

In other exciting news, we will be releasing a digital EP pretty soon here. It will be 4 brand new songs and a cover. It is tentatively titled "Thinning The Herd In The Kingdom Of Shit". Get stoked.

We have posted a new song to our myspace. It's called "The Memphis Blues" and it will be on our upcoming 7" entitled Devil Music Vol. II. On the b-side is a Swans cover entitled "Sex, God, Sex". That up there is a flyer for our tour kickoff. We'll be posting the dates to that soon. The 7" should be out by the time we leave and we're still writing for our full length. Got about 5 new songs. Expect something different.

In other news, Wil Spent has left the band and moved home to Illinois. On our tour with The American Black Lung, he was very ill and went to the hospital and was told he had type one diabetes. We're pretty bummed out, but it's for the best. Send him your love via his space.

The winter weather covering most of the country has caused The Jonbenet to cancel five of their upcoming tour dates due to bad driving conditions.

The cancelled dates are:

The band has released this statement:
"unfortunately, we had to cancel five shows in the northwest. we'd like to apologize to our friends in portland, seattle, spokane, missoula, and minot. the weather conditions are too extreme to risk driving through, especially for us on tour. the year has just begun, and we intend to make up for these cancellations. much appreciation to anyone involved in helping us out with these shows.

We're home from tour now. We were out with Fear Before, Number 12, and Heavy Heavy Low Low. We had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came out. We won't be going out until next year. Our album is out now. Pick it up somewhere, or order it online. We have a new 7" coming out sometime in the next month or two.
